This is a difficult vault and in this video you see how gymnasts learn to slowly and safety build from a foundation and through a series of steps learn the body mechanics required to perform the Yurchenko.

Emily performed hours of gymnastics practice and gymnastics drills and vault drills before she attempted to perform the yurchenko vault in full.  Even then she didn’t stick it in her first gymnastics meet but she was real excited when she did and was able to place second in state on vault Level 8.

Emily's First Time Cruise Ship Rock Climbing - Freedom of the Seas

Emily’s first time climbing a rock wall on a cruise ship - Freedom of the Seas Royal Caribbean.  She had been indoor rock climbing years before and really enjoyed it but broke her arm at gymnastics halting her rock climbing aspirations.  She’s a natural though, by the end of the cruise she was a rock climbing superstar.  The rock climbing and flowrider were the two cruise ship activities the kids enjoyed the most.

Emily’s first time on the Flowrider surf simulator aboard the cruise ship Freedom of the Seas Royal Caribbean.

After several Flowrider wipeouts Emily got the hang of it and performed some beginner tricks on the flowrider with help of the staff.

The kids had a blast on this cruise ship with Flowrider and rock climbing being their favorite activities.

Gymnastics at sea: Emily kept practicing and training even on vacation so she would be ready for the upcoming season of level 9 gymnastics.  This girl is dedicated.
